Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc., Has Been Selected as a Finalist for the 2009 PPI Awards
Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc. (“Longview”), from Longview, Wash., has been nominated for one of the pulp and paper industry’s most prestigious awards.
Longview’s FibreShield TM has been short-listed for the promotional/sales/marketing award in the 2009 Pulp & Paper International (PPI) Awards. FibreShield ® is Longview’s super-strong paper grade designed to meet the most demanding cement-sack applications domestically, and in developing countries across the world. The PPI Awards are the only global awards dedicated to recognizing these achievements in the sector. Longview is the only U.S. company in the final round in this category. This year’s winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Hilton Munich Park, Germany, on Oct. 28.
